How to spot scammers

We have zero tolerance with scammers, and have measures in place to try to prevent them reaching you.

Scammers will try to move your conversation away from this platform.

Taking the chat to another platform means we have no evidence of what they say, and we cannot do anything about it.

If you are asked to move to another platform, or see someone advertising such on their profile, please hit the REPORT button

They will often first be unavailable for a meet up, and likely be on a business trip. Something untoward will happen on this business trip, whilst their money is tied up in assets, meaning they reach out to you to send them cash. Any genuine business person would turn to family and friends for money, not a random strangers online they have never met

NEVER send money, and immediately press the REPORT button and BLOCK them.

How to better present themselves on their profile

Dos and Don'ts of a first meeeting

BE HONEST. There is no point in posting images of yourself that were taken 5 years ago, or at obscure angles to make yourself 'appear' more attractive. This false perspective you make yourself feel better will only actually make you feel worse when you receive more responses than you should have, just to be let down by more people. Also, your false persona may not be attractive to the person who would actually like you now, making you miss a true opportunity.
